"Hatch End was originally a brick and flint barn and is located in the Itchen river valley, about 3-4 miles from Winchester City centre. (7-10 minutes by car) We have two acres of park land type garden which quests are welcome to explore, relax in, or use for a picnic . Guests use a seperate access to the house and can come and go as they please. We have ample offstreet parking. Our bedrooms have comfortable, quality beds, and en-suite shower rooms, together with televisions, tea and coffee making facilities, and free wireless internet. Breakfast is served in the drawing room overlooking the garden. We are a non-smoking house and do not accept pets. Nearby country pubs, such as the Chestnut Horse Easton, Cricketers Inn Easton and the Trout Itchen Abbas, are just a short drive away and serve excellent food. ( In the summer, you can walk across fields and the river, via a footpath to the pubs in Easton.) The Bush at Ovington is another favourite and worth the challenge to find it ! The country town of Alresford is just 4 miles away with several pubs, Indian and Italian resturants, together with the Watercress Steam railway line to Alton."
